Mar 30 – Skillinge Bluesfestival
Apr 11 – The Underworld Camden, London
Apr 12 – The Cluny, Newcastle
Apr 13 – Bannermans Bar, Edinburgh
Apr 14 – The Musician Pub, Leicester
Apr 15 – HRH Blues @ o2 Academy, Sheffield
Mats will be releasing a new album in the spring with Abramis Brama, as well as new project Peace Conspiracy fronted by Meja, and featuring PS3 friend and collaborator Conny Bloom.
Bonafide has also announced an extensive UK tour later in the spring, see below!
Ho ho ho!
Triffid & Danger Concerts present two shows with The Edgar Winter Band in Sweden this fall, and we’re thrilled to open the show at Debaser Medis in Stockholm on Sunday, November 15th!
Winter made his debut in 1970 and has since released mega-sellers They Only Come Out At Night and Jasmine Nightdreams. In 1973, Edgar had a Billboard #1 with the million-selling instrumental classic Frankenstein. His latest album, Rebel Road, was released in 2008.
We just finished a mini-tour with the great Southern Kings – playing Malmö, Halmstad and Höganäs as well as opening at Stampen in Stockholm yet again. Thanks to everyone involved, to Stacie and Al Collins and Micke Fässberg who jammed with us in Malmö, to Pierre and Jonas in Halmstad, all the people at Garage, Breakout and Folk å Rock, Håkan Bladh, and all the people who came to the shows!
Here are a bunch of nice photos from the Malmö show, courtesy of Lars Brundin!
Starting today, Pontus Snibb is once again taking his seat at the drums of Jason and the Scorchers for four UK dates:
22nd of July – Academy 3, Manchester, UK
23rd of July – The Greystones, Sheffield, UK
24th of July – The Musician, Leicester, UK
25th of July – Ramblin’ Man Fair, Maidstone, UK
Then Bonafide has a whole bunch of tour dates which you can check out here…
We’ll most likely also book a number of PS3 shows later in the year, probably including one or two more at Stampen, Stockholm. Stay tuned and have a good summer!
Pontus, Mats & Nick
Pontus Snibb 3 will play Custom Bike Show in Norrtälje on Saturday the 7th of June. The show is at 14:00 in Societetsparken and there will probably be some tasty bits from Pontus new album Wreck of Blues as well as PS3 songs and more…
You can find more info about this great event at www.custombikeshow.se.
There were plans for two shows earlier in March this year, but they had to be postponed. We’ll be back with news about that later on. Here’s a short update to what we have been up to:
Bass player Mats has been busy recording a new album with Abramis Brama, Enkel Biljett, which will be released on May 2nd on Transubstans Records. He’s also toured a bit with the band Streets of Mars – who has a new single out called Avenue.
As you know, Pontus and Niklas have been very busy touring with Bonafide since the release of Bombo this fall, and they have an extensive tour of Spain coming up in May. Here are the dates:
